John has a B.S. degree from Central Michigan University with majors in Biology and Geology and a M.S. degree in Geology from the University of Pittsburgh. He has worked as both a geologist and as a product manager (working on software and data for geologists). John’s interests include home-automation, home networking, management of people and projects and all things Linux.
